One of the UK’s largest supplier of Pension solutions to business is looking to a recruit a number of Business Analysts to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our projects. You’ll dive deep into business requirements and processes, uncovering insights and identifying innovative solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in creating detailed documentation that drives our projects forward.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Pensions - Business Analyst, BA - DB Pensions, Annuities

  • Requirements Gathering - Establish, validate, and document business requirements from and for project stakeholders against the clear objectives articulated for the project.
  • Process Modelling - Develop and maintain documentation related to business processes and procedures ensuring compliance with the Business Analysis Framework. Work with teams across the business to map processes and controls, support the identification of areas of improvement and articulate requirements to drive change and deliver improvements.
  • Business Analysis - Collaborate with operational, project and IT teams to identify solutions to business processes and problems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Conduct testing to ensure that the solution meets business requirements. Support testers with the design of tests and query resolution arising from testing including defect management.
  • Facilitation - Facilitate workshops ensuring inclusion and collaborative engagement between departments, clients, and suppliers.
  • Stakeholder Management and Engagement - Lead the liaison with internal and external stakeholders to obtain requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within a Business Analyst role.
  • Pensions experience is essential, Defined Benefit and DC schemes either or, Annuities
  • Digital Projects
  • Can manage 2 - 3 projects at once
  • Focus on making experiences better for customers.
  • Bespoke Letter to members re changes and developments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic experience with data mapping techniques.
  • Proficiency Process Modelling tools, Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of business process modelling techniques, such as BPMN.
  • Ability to support the iterative development of solution options, taking direction where applicable.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage their delivery in a project.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies.
