Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct observations and assessments of learners in residential childcare settings to evaluate practical skills and knowledge.
  • Develop tailored learning plans with clear goals and milestones, adjusting them based on learner progress.
  • Provide one-to-one support and mentoring to help learners overcome challenges and build confidence in childcare practices.
  • Organise and deliver training sessions on key topics like safeguarding, child development, and behaviour management.
  • Track and record learner progress using e-portfolios and online assessment tools, ensuring compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • 1 year minimum experience in Residential Childcare
  • Assessor award (Desirable)
