The Job You’ll Do;
- Creating manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD applications from engineering information provided by the design team.
- Working with the Contracts & Production departments to ensure all critical manufacturing requirements are captured within the CAD drawings.
- Carrying out design QA checks on manufacturing drawings.
- Supporting the business with any additional CAD requirements.
- To be expected to adapt to the many diverse drawing possibilities within the CAD engineer role.
- To work closely with the Contracts and Production Departments.
About You;
- Experience of working with AutoCAD & Solidworks is essential.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT systems
- Ability to use one’s own initiative.
- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Have good written & communication skills.
- Strong Team player
- Experience of Revit drawing applications & RADAN CAD CAM software (desirable)
- Educated to Degree level (desirable)
