Our client is seeking a Estimator to prepare and issue estimates to secure high profile contracts within the roofing and cladding industry for our valued existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to clarify tender queries
- Be conversant with marketplace specifications, general industry materials
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for prices and delivery periods and with the management team for specific details, labour rates and factory ancillary products
- Work to deadlines in preparing estimates from performance specifications, proposals, drawings, bills of quantities and budgets
Key Skills/ Experience
- The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience of estimating in the roofing and cladding industry
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literate with strong IT skills
- Numerically strong
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
- Be competent and work to deadlines
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:45pm & Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm
