  • Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Our client is seeking a Estimator to prepare and issue estimates to secure high profile contracts within the roofing and cladding industry for our valued existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to clarify tender queries
  • Be conversant with marketplace specifications, general industry materials
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for prices and delivery periods and with the management team for specific details, labour rates and factory ancillary products
  • Work to deadlines in preparing estimates from performance specifications, proposals, drawings, bills of quantities and budgets

Key Skills/ Experience

  • The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience of estimating in the roofing and cladding industry
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate with strong IT skills
  • Numerically strong
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
  • Be competent and work to deadlines

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:45pm & Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm
