Reed FE are partnered with an FE College in Durham, Northeast who are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Lecturer in Physics to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, working 36 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and physics to contribute to the academic journey of students.

Day to Day of the Role:

Deliver high-quality teaching in Physics, including preparation, assessment, and evaluation.
Maintain professional standards in the delivery of teaching programmes.
Coordinate and administer responsibilities associated with course leadership and programme promotion.
Engage with students aged 16-19+ and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Manage workload efficiently, meeting deadlines and upholding the college’s educational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Level 6 or above teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards it.
Minimum of Level 6 qualification in Physics or a closely related discipline.
Experience in delivering to a diverse range of learners, particularly those aged 16-19+.
Proven success in teaching A Level Physics or Applied Science at Level 3.
Demonstrated ability to deliver good and better teaching outcomes.
Effective workload management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Suitability to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
