Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Mathematics teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Newton Aycliffe and Bishop Auckland area for a start in January 2025 for a full time role.

The role

The desired Mathematics Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired Mathematics Teacher must have experience of working within an Maths department and be comfortable teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Requirements

To be considered for the Mathematics Teacher position, you will:

  • Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
