Sonic Summary

MTrec is recruiting assembly operatives in Evenwood for a growing manufacturing company.
Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced assembly or production environment and be confident using hand tools.
The position requires heavy lifting and manual handling, along with quality inspection of completed work.
The pay starts at £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12 per hour after a successful training period.
Candidates should be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

MTrec are currently recruiting for assembly operatives based in Evenwood. You would be working for a growing manufacturing company and we are looking for candidates who have the ability to work in a fact paced environment on a permanent back shift.

The Role

Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload
To help prioritise workloads within the Department / designated Production Line
Vast amounts of assembly work on a range of components
Heavy lifting and manual handling when required
Using various hands tools including drills, screw drivers, rivet guns and spanners
Quality inspection of all completed work
To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Team Leader
To maintain the companys health & safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your workstation tidy

The Candidate

A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
Experience working in a fast-paced assembly or production environment
Experience using hand tools

The Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00pm to 16:30pm with over time when required
