- Leadership and Management:Lead and manage the Residential Conveyancing Department, providing clear direction, mentoring, and support to a team of lawyers and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and ensuring efficient department operations. Serve as the SRO for the CQS accreditation and oversee the annual re-accreditation process. Work with the firm’s management team to align departmental goals with the broader strategic vision of the firm.
- Client Services:Ensure the team delivers high-quality service to clients, handling complex and high-value residential property transactions. Maintain and enhance client relationships, providing expert legal advice and guidance throughout the conveyancing process. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices to maintain the firm’s excellent reputation.
- Business Development:Drive the growth of the Residential Conveyancing Department by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the department’s services and attract new clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other professionals in the property industry. Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and conferences to raise the department’s profile.
- Operational Efficiency:Oversee the efficient management of caseloads, workflows, and departmental KPIs. Implement technology and software solutions to streamline processes and improve overall departmental efficiency.
- A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
