If you're a Mechanical or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for new career opportunities I'd be keen to hear from you. This is a permanent position with a volume manufacturing company who offer a competitive salary of £46-50k for a shift based engineer.

You'll be working 12 hour shifts (6-6) days and nights but you'll get everyu other weekend off as a 3 day weekend. The pattern averages 3.5 shifts per week so you'll save fuel and have more time with your family.

In this role you'll be working alongside 2 other engineers, one electrical and one mechanical. Your primary responsibilities will be the mechanical and electrical repair of all site equipment, both planned and reactive maintenance.

Whatyou'll be doing:

  • Carrying out faultfinding and breakdown repair on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes etc.
  • You'll need to have some basic welding experience as fabrication repairs will be something you'll be involved with.
  • Assist with installations of new plant equipment.

What you'll bring:

  • You'll need to have served a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline and have some industry experience in factory based maintenance.
  • This role would suit someone that is mechanically biased with a sound electrical knowledge.
