Working Monday to Friday
Our client is looking to recruit a Workshop Chargehandto join theirteam in Bishop Aukland. You will be flexible, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative. You will be an experienced HGV/PSV technician looking to progress your career or have worked as a Supervisor within Commercial Automotive.
Ideally you will have a level 3 automotive qualification and live locally to Bishop Aukland.
Shift pattern -Monday to Friday
We are looking to speak to candidates who have ideally worked within the Commercial Automotive sector but we are open to speaking to candidates who are local to Bishop Aukland, have a full UK licence and are happy to work within a fast paced role and someone with a good eye for detail.
This role would suit someone who has worked as a HGV mechanic / PSV mechanic / Engineering Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor / Technician / Fitter / Engineer / Workshop Manager / Workshop Foreman.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Managing a team of HGV Technicians
- Oversee MOTs, PMIs routine maintenance
- Manage staff rotas
- Working closely with the Regional Engineering Manager
- Managing workflow, productivity and KIPs
- Liaising with Stock/Parts Manager
