Procurement Officer

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting multiple Public Sector organisations with the recruitment of a Procurement Officer. These are permanent opportunities paying between £33,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Officer include:

  • Provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service
  • Work with stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings and improved service levels
  • Provide an effective procurement service by procuring contracts for goods, services and works in line with Company policy and all relevant UK legislation
  • Providing advice to the Procurement Manager regarding service improvements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong public sector procurement experience
  • A good understanding of contracts management
  • Excellent communication skills
