This a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established yet growing construction company where you will work on a variety of large industrial and commercial projects, all whilst working for a company who look to actively invest in their employees with great training and progression opportunities.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience working on large commercial or industrial projects? Do you want to join a company where you will be invested in with great opportunities for further technical development? Are you looking for an opportunity where you will be able to progress to Senior Quantity Surveyor?

This growing yet established construction company operate nationwide, boasting a huge client base within the industrial and commercial industries. With them offering the design, manufacture and installation of building enclosures on a variety of large projects. Their ability to offer a full service has found them great success as of late. This is why they are looking to add to their growing contracting team with this great opportunity.

In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities, which will include you visiting sites across the country where you will be preparing and agreeing valuations with clients. You will then be responsible for preparing take offs from drawings, as well as pricing any contract variations. Also, you will be responsible for liaising with in-house teams and subcontractors to ensure payment is done in time and any changes can be accounted for. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be negotiating and agreeing final accounts with clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with experience working on large commercial or industrial projects with strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, as well as holding a full UK drivers license to be able to travel to various sites nationwide.
