The role?
Technology is advancing and incredibly complex systems continue to be integrated into our day-to-day lives quickly becoming the new normal. One size doesn’t fit all so you’ll work across a number of project portfolios and have plenty of coaching /guidance from your peers!
You’ll work alongside in-house departments of designers, engineers and software engineers where you’ll take requirements from vision right through to end solution. Whether you’re working on a pre-existing, industry-standard solutions or building a bespoke system from scratch, you’ll gain valuable skills along the way.
On a day to day you’ll…
- Migrating customers away from legacy products, and transitioning them to newer supported platforms / technologies using languages such as Embedded C, Python & C++.
- Investigate and debug firmware failures using tools such as GDB, oscilloscopes and logic analysers.Â
- Create and maintain product datasheets, user guides and compliance documentation.
- Work with customers to achieve desired outcomes and products.
Experience that will make you a good fit ?
- Some commercial experience in a team where you may have worked on projects within an electronics environment where technologies such as C++, Embedded C or Pytjon may be used.
- Software Development team before, alongside other IT professionals.
- Likely have an electronics / manufacturing background whether that be from your education or commercial setting ( or both )Â
