Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Repairs and Maintenance Manager to join their team in Spennymoor. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract and Performance Management:
    Oversee and manage contracts to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Building Regulations, Health and Safety:

    Develop and implement 'smart' working practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Project Management Techniques:
    Lead projects related to repairs, maintenance, and void service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Degree level in Surveying/Building Studies/Construction or equivalent professional qualification (or qualified to HNC/HND level and prepared to undertake further funded study to degree level).
  • Housing Health and Safety Rating System:
    Qualification required (or willingness to undertake further funded study).
  • Proven experience in repairs and maintenance management.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards.
  • Expertise in process-based thinking and project management.
  • Familiarity with value engineering and change management techniques.
