Anderson Knight are working exclusively with one of Scotland's best known and respected businesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR & Staffing Coordinator to work closely with the HR and Operations teams. This is a site based role, working between 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of temporary agency staff, ensuring that the right number of staff are in place to meet operational demands each day. You will be the main point of contact for managing temporary workforce needs, handling staffing shortages, and ensuring the day-to-day operation runs smoothly. Your ability to quickly adapt, manage staffing levels, and maintain operational efficiency will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the workflow of agency staff ensuring the correct number of temps are available to meet operational needs.
- Liaise with external agencies to book temps, handle staffing requirements, and resolve any staffing-related issues.
- Monitor and manage attendance of agency temps, ensuring that absences are flagged, and sickness cover is arranged promptly.
- Conduct Right to Work (RTW) checks, ensuring all legal documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Organise and schedule interviews for agency staff and support the recruitment process.
- Issue contracts and onboard agency workers, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Act as the first point of contact for agencies, managing the relationship and ensuring clear communication at all times.
- Proactively manage absences and ensure contingency plans are in place for any last-minute staffing shortages.
About You:
- You are a natural organise with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Confident communicator with the ability to effectively liaise with external agencies and internal teams to coordinate staffing levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly, especially when managing last-minute absences or staffing shortages.
- A proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in HR, staffing coordination, or workforce administration is highly preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
