Hours: Full-time, 9am - 5:30pm (1-hour break), Monday to Friday
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Paediatrics Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in London. This ongoing, full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of £33-37 per hour and is suitable for a dedicated professional with a strong background in paediatric pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care to paediatric patients within hospital wards
- Ensure the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications for children
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of paediatric pharmacy services and initiatives
- Advise on complex medication regimens for paediatric patients, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
- Provide support for clinical decision-making and medication management
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience working in paediatrics (essential)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a busy and dynamic workload
