Description
- Mechanical & electrical maintenance of both static and mobile plant, including the coordination of maintenance activities
- Assist in the further development of our PPM to improve plant availability and productivity
- Work effectively with operations to coordinate maintenance and operational needs without compromising process efficiency/performance
- Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals
- Recommend changes in training, working practices and processes which will improve the business
- Work with our team to develop technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures
- Implementation and ongoing management of Agility (CMMS system) ensuring asset register and training are up to date
- Manage site buildings and facilities to ensure that they are maintained to a serviceable condition as required
Profile
- Mechanical engineering background
- Experience and understanding in electrical systems
- Self-management and proactiveness
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A detailed and conscientious approach
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and when working towards deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability with regards to working times to ensure that the site is kept operational
- Manual dexterity in awkward positions.
- The heavy lifting of tools and machine parts of up to 15kgs.
