Reed Health and Care are currently recruiting for Residential Childcare Workers to come and join the teams in Bishopton and the surrounding areas.

We currently have full time and part time opportunities available!

What this role involves:

  • Providing care and guidance to vulnerable children and young people
  • Promoting good relationships and achievements whilst being a positive role model
  • Promoting and ensuring safeguarding for any children and young people
  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Ensuring care plans are updated accordingly
  • Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
  • Taking part in any day to day actives with the children and young people
  • Working with children and young people’s families

What we are looking for:

  • At least 6 months UK care experience working with children
  • Drivers License is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Commitment and reliability
  • Behavioural management training – CALMS, TCI, PMVA etc
  • Must be SSSC registered or looking to register
