What Youll Be Doing

As a Tool Fitter, you'll be essential in installing, maintaining, and fine-tuning tools for EDM and laser machining systems. Heres what your days will look like:

• Fitting and assembling precision tools for high-tech CNC, EDM, and laser machinery.
• Making sure all tooling is set up for maximum accuracy and performance.
• Routine maintenance and repairs to keep everything running at peak efficiency.
• Working with engineers to troubleshoot and optimise tooling.
• Diagnosing and fixing tool and machine issues before they escalate.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise fitting and setup.

What Were Looking For

• Experience as a Tool Fitter, Machine Tool Engineer, or similar role.
• Background in EDM, laser machinery, CNC, or high-precision tooling is highly desirable
• Mechanical fitting and assembly expertise.
• The ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical specifications.
• A proactive problem solver spotting and fixing issues before they become major.
• An eye for detail because precision is everything in this role.
