We are partnering with a Global Manufacturing organisation based in Lancashire in sought of an all-round Accountant.
They are an innovative business who are looking for an Accountant with a focus on deep dive reconciliations.
6 month Interim assignment, potential for extension.
As a key member of the finance team, you'll play an integral role in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and performance reports for our growing group of subsidiary companies.
Additional duties:
- Production of management and financial accounts in accordance with prescribed formats, time scales and procedures. Provision and review of KPI's for the factory.
- Reconciliation of all site balance sheet accounts at prescribed frequencies.
- Creation of manual and automatic accruals/provisions for all cost items where appropriate.
- Investigation of significant items of cost, variance or over-spend with operational management.
- Reconciliations
In addition, you'll assist with the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, while also identifying and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.
Experience:* CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified * Strong spreadsheet skills* Advanced Excel* Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential* Positive and driven attitude to work
