This role will have a lot of exposure to the MD, CEO and CFO and will have complete ownership of the business unit.This is a truly unique opportunity to springboard your career, challenge and influence at a Senior level to drive commercial decision making. With broad exposure across M&A, business planning and strategy, this will prepare the successful candidate for a Finance Director role in the future. Candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong commercial acumen and ideally able to start at short notice.Location: Blackburn (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)Salary: £60-70k plus bonusResponsibilities:- Act as a strategic partner with senior managers, challenging and influencing to support strategic goals and drive performance- Lead the financial planning process, including short and long term planning, budgeting and forecasting- Production of monthly management accounts and high-quality Management Information to support business decision making- Supporting with both internal and external audit, providing insights where necessary- Supporting with M&A any corporate finance activityRequirements:- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified- Strong financial planning and analysis skills- Experience within the Energy/Utilities/Infrastructure sector would be beneficial- Experience with ERP systems- Experience in M&A would be a bonus but not essential
