The Role

As a member of the Accounts Receivable Team, reporting to the Finance Transaction Processing Manager. You will be responsible for working with colleagues across College to ensure the timely and accurate raising of invoices and chasing debt. You will contribute to systems development activities related to Higher Education /Further Education student finance, sales ledger and debt collection to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will maintain a high standard of customer service. You will be involved in supporting the Accounts Payable team. Hours of work are flexible to be agreed with the successful applicant.

What are we looking for

You must possess a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths and experience of working with Microsoft office applications, specifically Excel and Word. You should also have experience of working in a finance environment in a in a sales ledger / credit control function. In addition, you will have experience dealing with customers both internally and externally and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
