Your new role as Group Financial Controller:As Financial controller you shall enjoy a varied role which offers many technical and commercial accounting duties. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you shall enhance process and develop the team to establish timely and accurate monthly/yearly accounting. With the ability to formulate a strategic and long-term business plan you shall spearhead change whilst ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.Main Role Duties:Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior management to ensure financial targets are met.Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support the growth and operational efficiency of the company.Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements. Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth process.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring funds are available for operations and investments.Team Leadership: Manage a small team within the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective performance.Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:To be considered you shall be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a leadership role. You shall have team supervision experience and be seeking a varied role which offers the opportunity to add value at a senior level. Technically strong you will be able to demonstrate strong Excel skills being competent in the use of VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
