I am currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Financial Systems Accountant to join an expanding business. The role involves partnering across the Group finance department and collaborating with various departments to enhance system efficiency, provide training, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include managing the Oracle EPM consolidation and planning system, influencing the adoption of Blackline for account reconciliations, delivering accurate and timely financial data, and maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and administration of Oracle EPM for consolidation and planning.

  • Developing and maintaining effective BI for financial reporting, planning, and analysis.

  • Overseeing implementation and management of Oracle EPM and Blackline for consolidation and account reconciliations.

  • Supporting finance team members on Oracle EPM and Blackline functionalities and best practices.

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies across consolidation processes and reconciliations.

  • Evaluating and improving consolidation and planning processes, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls within the consolidation and reconciliation processes.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data consolidation.

  • Supporting external auditors during the annual audit process.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), experience in group accounting function, strong Excel skills, finance systems expertise, business partnering.

  • Desirable: Experience in preparing financial consolidation and reconciliation processes, experience in implementation.
