An established manufacturing business in Blackburn is seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
The role offers a salary of up to £50,000, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, life insurance, and a pension.
Candidates should have experience in a similar Management Accountant position and be newly qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as providing accurate management reporting.
Strong attention to detail, IT skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within the organization are essential for this role.

I am currently working with an established manufacturing business in Blackburn, who are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant, expanding their finance team following continued innovation and growth.

This role is working with an excellent FC, with opportunities for further personal development and progression.

Package: Salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance & pension

Management Accountant - Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of group reporting pack including FX adjustments
Complete Balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
Preparation and submission of VAT returns including returns in Ireland and Netherlands
Accruals and prepayments
Investigating variances against budget
Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve these
Financial support on ad hoc projects
Providing support to finance team

Management Accountant - Requirements

Experience gained within a similar Management Accountant role
Newly qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adhere to deadlines
Strong IT skills particularly Excel
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
Organised and diligent
