We are working with an exceptional family-owned business who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join them and support the newly appointed FD.
The business is very well established and has a strong history of staff retention, due to a recent company re-structure they are now looking to grow the business, with new ideas and strategic development within their specified industry. They are a nationally focused business and have a well-respected brand with a lot of specialised high-quality products within their range, this gives them the edge over some larger competitors.
As Management Accountant/Finance Manager your duties will include: -
路 Responsible for producing the monthly management accounts and supporting commentary ready for review.
路 Establish an effective KPI reporting suite covering (but not exclusive too), stock movements, customer sales and data, as well as commercial analysis.
路 Manage the fixed asset register, including all depreciation and values.
路 Monitor the stock reporting variances, movements, and dispatch to ensure efficiencies.
路 Supervise the transactional team, and the reconciliations of the nominal ledger as well as monitor closely the numerous company bank accounts (sterling/euro/dollar).
路 Assist with the weekly and monthly budgeting and forecasting process.
The successful candidate will be joining a growing business who have thrived over the last few years; therefore, they require someone who add value to the current efficiencies and processes. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills across all departments, enabling the accountability of the financials to develop and provide a more cohesive operation.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong background in the monthly reporting cycle and support the growth in accountability of financial reporting across departments. The business is an SME operation and has some exposure to stock so experience in this area is a must.
