You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial matters of the company. This role is primarily based in Blackburn and requires a high level of financial analysis and reporting skills.

Description
As a management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial reports and ensuring they comply with statutory requirements.
- Conducting analysis and developing financial strategies to improve company profitability.
- Assisting in the budgeting process and providing financial forecasts.
- Managing the company's tax and audit processes.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
- Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and improving financial systems and processes within the company.
- Providing financial advice to the senior management team.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
