I am currently seeking a talented and driven Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing retail/healthcare business based in Blackburn for a 9 month maternity cover. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring finance professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting Support: Help Senior Financial Accountants with monthly management accounts.

  • Business Performance Monitoring: Produce and report monthly management accounts for strategic decision-making.

  • Budget Creation and Oversight: Create group budgets and consistently report on performance.

  • Financial Communication: Explain financial performance to all JVP entities and Amplify sub-departments.

  • Year-End Support: Assist the Finance Director with year-end statutory accounts.

  • Audit Readiness: Develop and maintain financial processes to prepare for external audits.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modelling and ERP systems is a plus

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a keen interest in continuous learning
