Your new companyI am currently working exclusively with a large organisation based in East Lancashire, who are seeking a Management Accountant (Assistant) within the team. This is a newly created role within an expanding company. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Part-Qualified candidate looking to accelerate their career within Finance. Your new role

  • Full-time permanent role, Monday-Friday with flexibility of hours.
  • Support with the preparation of monthly lead schedules and support with any statutory audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of P&Ls to ensure the accuracy of managing reports.
  • Deal with large volumes of data.
  • Work collaboratively with the transactions team to ensure a smooth month-end.
  • Assisting in the accurate production of monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Production and posting of journals including accruals and prepayments.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with all adhoc project work as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Can-do attitude and the ability to work off your own initiative.
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA/CIM/ACA wanting to progress. *Candidates with degree exemptions will also be considered.
  • Proficiency with Excel and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have worked within a large organisation and want to grow and develop their career in finance.
