- Prepare and present management accounts
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with agreed Group accounting policies
- Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
- Liaise with key budget holders to have a better understanding of expected costs
- Liaise with the commercial team to understand new deals
- Adopt a proactive approach to the role to add value to the business
- Liaise with external auditors, providing any information required
- Ad hoc analysis and investigative work
- Part Qualified or QBE Accountant with current technical knowledge or strong academic background
- Good understanding of management accounts and balance sheets
- 2 to 3 years' experience in a management accounting function
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of Access Dimensions would be advantageous
- Able to work under pressure
- Working as a team, assisting other team members where necessary
- Adaptable and flexible
- A strong continuous improvement mentality with the ability to challenge existing processes
