The businessNigel Wright is supporting a fast-growing property management business in recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant. You will be joining dynamic property finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of the business.RoleAs a Management Accountant, you will take ownership of critical financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, delivering insightful financial analysis, and supporting strategic business decisions. Reporting to the CFO, this role combines technical accounting expertise, leadership responsibilities, and opportunities for professional growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and interpret financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide actionable insights into the organisation's financial performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead financial management tasks, including budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accountants, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team performance.
  • Compliance & Integrity: Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining accurate records.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to support business initiatives with sound financial planning and analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct audits of financial processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency.
Person
  • Part or Qualified Accountant  (ACCA, CIMA) or QBE or currently studying towards a finance qualification 
  • Proven track record in management accounting within commercial real estate, construction, property investment, or house building. 
  • Proficient in accounting systems - Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
  •  Strong understanding of financial management principles, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
