We are currently working alongside an excellent family-owned practice based in Blackburn who are looking for a Senior Accountant (Client Manager), to join their current team. The client has an excellent working environment with a friendly culture, and this is displayed right through to the customer service given to their clients.

As Senior Accountant your duties will include:

  • Prepare Statutory accounts for the LTD companies ready for partner review, including all VAT and Corp tax completions.

  • Provide management accountants on both a monthly and quarterly basis within your portfolio.

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, charities including individual and company tax returns.

  • Knowledge of payroll and PAYE, and auto-enrolment.

  • Assist with audit clients alongside the partners.

  • Assist junior staff in the training and development.

  • Experience of cloud based software, good excel and all Microsoft packages.

  • £34k - £40k (plus study if required), although QBE will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be confident in the production of small company accounts and HMRC processing, possibly with portfolio management experience.
