Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Senior Management Accountant for a one of the largest finance functions in the Greater Manchester region. This role could suit either a fully qualified candidate who has a strong management accounting background and is keen to put their skills to use within a fast-paced finance function.The RoleReporting into the Finance Controller, duties and responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant will include:* Assist with the production of monthly management accounts* Quarterly budgets and reforecasting* Responsible for producing key balance sheet account reconciliations* Production of ad hoc reports for senior stakeholders* Creating, leading or supporting on projects* Act as a point of contact in the business to help with queries on the financial reporting and records for the portfolio of entities you are responsible forThe CandidateTo be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:* Full qualified - ACCA/ACA/CIMA* Strong financial reporting skills (Forecasting / Variance analysis / Performance analysis)* Strong experience with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel, Word, Power Point* Experience with Power BI is preferred* Outstanding problem-solving capabilities* Ability to act on own initiative, strong problem-solverSalary & BenefitsIn return, the successful Management Accountant will receive the following:* £47,000 - £58,000 base salary + bonus* 25 days holidays* Study support for professional qualifications* Career advancement opportunities* Friendly working environment
