Sonic Summary

The Assistant Accountant position involves managing the Purchase and Sales Ledger, as well as processing all Petty Cash and expenses payments.
Responsibilities include maintaining Fund accounts, preparing and analyzing budgets, and supporting budget holders in monitoring spending.
The role also requires assisting with Management accounts and completing end-of-year audits with support from the Management Accountant.
Candidates must be part qualified accountants with a can-do attitude, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for analytical work.
The position is onsite in Blackburn, with a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

Purchase and Sales Ledger
Handling and processing all Petty Cash and expenses payments
Maintaining Fund accounts
Preparing and analysing budgets
Supporting budget holders and monitoring spending
Assisting with Management accounts with support
Completing end of year audits with support
Assisting the Management Accountant with all reconciliations .
