- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Dealing with daily Bank reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, sales invoices, payment scheduling and other accounting functions.
- Utilise accounting software such as Sage to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain good working practice.
- Assist in managing financial services and ensure efficient financial operations within the department.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in financial accounting.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices within property.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or relevant internships will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
