- Assist in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial statements.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Provide support for financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday is essential.
- Experience or background having worked in a Property Company.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
