We are working with Blackburn Council to find an Administrator on a temporary basis.Job Type: Temporary (Full-time)Location: Blackburn with DarwenContract Duration: Initial 5 months with the option to extendHours: 37 hours per weekWe are seeking an Administrator to join our Finance Team at Blackburn with Darwen Council. This role involves posting income and processing orders, primarily focusing on data input which requires both speed and accuracy. The position is available due to long-term absences within the team, and there is potential for extension based on performance and workload.Day-to-day of the role:-          Posting income to our ledger and processing creditor payments.-          Data input with high accuracy and efficiency.-          Scanning documents to maintain digital records.-          Managing telephone communications to handle queries and provide information.-          Handling email correspondences efficiently.-          Utilising Microsoft Office tools for various administrative tasks.Required Skills & Qualifications:-          Previous experience in a Financial Administrative role is highly desirable.-          Proficient in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and speed.-          Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications.-          Excellent communication skills, capable of managing phone and email communications - effectively.-          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
