Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing control system configurations at client sites.
  • Produce IO schedules and technical submittals.
  • Interpret client specifications and develop software programs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop control system requirements.
  • Create control system conceptual designs and specifications.
  • Finalize scheme designs and develop User Requirements Specifications (URS).
  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Interface with suppliers, manage technical queries, and approve design changes.
  • Ensure compliance through site visits and attend technical review meetings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff.
Areas of Expertise:

  • CHP, refrigeration, air source and ground source heat pumps.
  • HVAC, boilers, biomass, solar, BESS, and energy centres with mechanical plants.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BMS design, with a focus on renewable energy integration.
  • Expertise in BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
