There is an opening for a qualified Asbestos Consultant, to cover commercial and industrial contracts in the North West of England. The role is within a prestigious and rapidly-growing Asbestos Consultancy. Applicants must be qualified with the relevant P Certifications (or RSPH equivalents) and will have a proven track record working within the industry. Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have worked as an Asbestos Consultant, with hands-on Surveying & Analytical experience
- Qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications, or RSPH equivalent
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills
- Robust understanding of UKAS, HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines
- Able to discuss technical issues in great detail and provide advice to clients
- Comfortable using IT applications and software, such as the Microsoft Office package
The Role:
- Carrying out Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys
- Completing the full range of air monitoring, including: Leak, Reassurance, Background and Personal
- Conducting 4 Stage Clearances
- Writing thorough written reports for clients, detailing findings and recommendations
- Updating company records and site logbooks
- Providing comprehensive advice to clients and answering any technical issues
- Liaising with clients to arrange access to sites
- Supporting training of new members of staff
