We are working closely with an independent, family run Asbestos Consultancy based in the North West region who are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be working on Local Authority, Industrial, Educational, Commercial, and Social Housing sites across the North West region, ensuring surveying work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer paid travel time, enrolment onto the company pension scheme, annual company bonuses and opportunities for overtime.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Stockpot, Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Birkenhead, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Leek, Buxton, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Leeds, Keighley, Barnsley, Halifax, Dewsbury.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor would be beneficial to the role.
" Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to work well independently and as a team.
" Experienced in using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveyors.
" Re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" ACM sampling, bagging safely and labelling correctly.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
