Accounts Payable Specialist - German SpeakingBlackburn£26,000 - £30,000My Clients Transactional Finance division is expanding, and they have an exciting opportunity available for a German Speaking Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team! In this role, you play a key part in ensuring a smooth end-to-end process for the organisation.This is a fast paced and forward-thinking position and the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term finance career within a successful, expanding corporate enterprise.Duties:

  • Review, verify and input all vendor invoices/debit notes into relevant ERP with purchase order invoices approved via three-way match and non-purchase order invoices.
  • Be the first line of contact for business users with AP queries whilst developing cross-functional relationships.
  • Gather all purchase card statements, verify receipts and process into SAP system.
  • Prepare the payment runs and oversee the process to completion, liaising with relevant departments where necessary; ensuring all invoices are paid correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to Accounts Payable ledger and actively resolve any queries that arise from the process.
  • Work with the AP Team Leaders to drive initiatives and support implementations of Accounts Payable projects, assisting with new process and system implementations.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including invoice processing and statement reconciliations.
  • Build effective relationships both internally within the Finance team and externally with the team's wider stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
  • Fluent in German.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (particularly Excel).
  • Must have a strong academic record and experience in Finance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of working with multiple locations, business units and currencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment successfully managing multiple tasks & priorities.
  • Able to adapt style of communication depending on the audience and the nature of the information being communicated.
