Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Transactional Shared Services team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating journals, posting sales into SAP, monitoring and resolving missing sales, and reconciling cash and card GL accounts. You'll also prepare various reports, post ad hoc journals, handle debtor invoices and credit notes, and escalate any issues appropriately. Your strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines will ensure your success in this role.

  • Creation of journals and posting of sales into SAP
  • Monitoring, escalation and resolution of missing sales
  • Sales reconciliation
  • Reconciling and clearing cash and card GL accounts & investigation of discrepancies
  • Preparation and issue of reporting e.g. discrepancy + forgery reports
  • Posting ad hoc journals
  • Posting debtors invoices and credit notes
  • Escalating any issues in a timely and appropriate manner

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role brings proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a Shared Services environment. You have a good working knowledge of Excel and possess strong attention to detail. Your analytical skills are top-notch, enabling you to plan effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
