We are seeking a reliable and skilled FLT Driver to join our clients Night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using the FLT trucks while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to handle various materials, making it essential for the successful movement of products within our organisation.
The working hours are NIGHTS Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am.
The ideal candidate would have a Bendi/Flexi FLT licence but training could be available if you have an expired licence.
Duties
- Operate the FLT to transport goods to designated locations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a Warehouse Management Systems.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying quantities and inspecting items for quality.
- Utilise forklifts and other equipment for efficient materials handling within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations and effective communication regarding inventory levels.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, demonstrating physical capability to manage demanding workloads.
Qualifications
- FLT Experience, ideally with a valid licence.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
- Experience in materials handling, including loading and unloading techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
