An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and dedicated Transformation Finance Business Analyst to work along side a dynamic accounts payable team

You will be part of a standardisation accounts payable project utilising software solutions and industry-level project methodologies, ensuring that digital risks and controls are managed effectively.

This role offers an excellent chance to work alongside the accounts payable manager, digital counterparts and external partners, providing you with extensive exposure and stimulating challenges

As a Transformation Accounts Payable Business Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving forward our standardisation project.

You will be responsible for delivering user requirement to functional specification documentation, handling documentation that enables unit and user testing completion.

Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders will be crucial in this role.

With your strong analytical skills, you will determine user requirements, functional specification, and end-user training material in line with our methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build strong relationships with accounts payable and project teams to gain their trust and credibility
  • Work with the business to define and document a full set of user requirements
  • Document the 'As Is' and 'To Be' solution or user stories using standard work and process maps as required
  • Define and document the functional requirements, engaging with relevant digital counterparts and business user representatives
  • Conclude the accounts payable documentation cycle with approvals for both user specifications and functional requirements / Requirements Traceability matrices
  • Post development - transition solutions into user training material, training and scripts
  • Lead all activities from requirement to functional specification, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Support all testing activities within the project with a strong focus on ensuring full participation from the user community

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Transformation Finance Business Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in business analysis.

You will have proven experience in gathering project requirements for accounts payable using both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Your will also have extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes as well as being able to manipulate data and present findings
