Your new companyYou'll be working for a large public sector organisation with offices based in Preston and surrounding areas, who provide services across the Lancashire area. The company is searching for a professional Customer Service Manager to join their growing team. This role will involve directly managing and supporting a team of up to 15 customer service advisors. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.Your new roleThis is a widely varied position that requires support in different areas of the business. As Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of up to 15 heads.
  • Meeting tight deadlines - hitting KPIs.
  • Making outbound calls to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the day-to-day running of the business is smooth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Using a variety of different in-house systems to keep records of all conversations.
  • Ensuring you follow the department's processes and procedures whilst guaranteeing all information is correct.
  • Working alongside other team members to ensure all administration work is completed efficiently and within an allocated time frame.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in securing this position, you should have strong customer service skills, an exceptional telephone manner, excellent in Microsoft packages, including excel and a great desire to help others. Alongside this, the successful candidate must demonstrate high levels of accuracy, be self-motivated and illustrate your own initiative. Previous customer service managerial experience in an office-based setting is required.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will have the opportunity to join a large, well-known organisation. You will receive weekly pay at an hourly rate from £14.00. This role is a temporary position for a period of 3 months initially. There will be an opportunity for this to be extended or even made permanent dependent on performance and business needs. The role is predominately office based.
