Van Driver
Hourly rate:From 12.50/ph
Hours:7am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of their Engineering & Manufacturing client in the heart of Blackburn.
Our client is part of a large nationwide group, heavily involved in the metal sector supplying a multitude of industries. We are seeking an experienced Van Driver, ideally with a clean licence, to service customers within the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift experience
- Safely operate a commercial van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and navigate through various road conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of deliveries
- Ability to communicate with customers and build relationships
- Multi-drop between 5-20 deliveries a day dependant on route
What we require from you
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Forklift experience/License
- Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Keen eye on time management
- Ability to commute to Blackburn on a daily basis
- Flexibility with hours during the day
