The Talent Set are delighted to be working with Blackburn College to find their Marketing Manager. This role will require working on-site 5 days per week. 



Acting as one of the main points of contact for marketing across the College, you’ll foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners, ensuring marketing adds value at every level. You’ll also lead efforts to raise the profile of marketing across the organisation and ensure continuous evaluation of activities, demonstrating impact against KPIs and delivering value for money.



Key Responsibilities:



•    Lead the planning and delivery of all marketing activities for higher education, further education, apprenticeships, T-Levels, A-levels, vocational/BTEC courses, and commercial provision.


•    Develop, deliver, and monitor high-quality, targeted marketing campaigns that drive student recruitment and achieve key marketing objectives.


•    Oversee the College's digital presence, ensuring all content is on-brand, engaging, and optimised for target audiences.


•    Lead on developing and implementing digital content, including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing campaigns, to drive recruitment and engagement.


•    Line manage the Digital Content Coordinator, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance performance and skills.


•    Evaluate campaign performance, using data and analytics to inform future strategies, maximise return on investment and ensure continuous improvement.


•    Collaborate with teams across the College to share updates, celebrate achievements, and ensure all staff understand and champion key messages.


•    Oversee the creation of marketing and communication materials, including print, digital, and internal resources, ensuring consistency with the Blackburn College brand.





Person Specification: 



•    Strong track record of planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns that drive engagement and recruitment.


•    Excellent knowledge of multi-channel marketing, including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing.


•    Experience in managing digital content strategies to enhance online presence and engagement.


•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.


•    Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging content for different audiences.


•    Ability to use data and analytics to evaluate marketing performance and inform decision-making.


•    Strong understanding of brand management and ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.


•    A creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling campaigns that highlight student success and institutional achievements.
