Our client a well established and rapidly expanding UK based distributor based in Blackburn East Lancashire are looking to recruit a dynamic, forward thinking and passionate Sales-Manager to lead their UK sales team and continue their ongoing success.Reporting to the General Manager who has been with the company over 15 years, this role means you will be integral in ensuring support and motivation of the sales team along with the opportunity to develop new ideas of working. The successful candidate can look forward to working in a fun environment with a friendly established and high performing team coupled with a very exciting range of products.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to sales team, helping them achieve individual and team goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor customer performance and proactively identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling additional services.
  • Perform regular reviews and one to one’s.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in a sales leadership role
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • A tenacious, driven work attitude.
Salary, working hours and benefits
  • This role is fully office based in a great work setting very close to the motorway
  • A basic salary of £50,000 per annum plus commission with a realistic OTE or circa £60k per annum but this is uncapped!
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays increasing with service
  • Free parking
  • Monday – Friday 8:45am-5:15pm but on a Friday the team can usually be found out of office from around 4:30pm ish ??
