Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to lead and oversee mechanical projects in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial pipefitting and experience managing complex mechanical installations in commercial or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Oversee and support the installation and maintenance of pipefitting systems, including gas, water, heating systems, sanitary ware dry riser and boiler houses.
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage resources effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in commercial pipefitting such as sanitary ware, dry riser etc.
- Proven experience in project management within the mechanical industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical installations, including gas, HVAC, and pipe systems.
- ACS Gas qualifications (preferred) or willingness to gain certification if required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Beneficial Qualifications:
- SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent site safety qualifications.
- First Aid certification.
