CNC Machinist

Location: Blackburn

Remuneration: 15.00 - 16.50 per hour (Dependant on experience)

Our client is a well-established street furniture manufacturer who has been operating for over 40 years, regularly working with the UK's leading Landscapers, Architects and Developers. Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is now seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their manufacturing team.

Position Overview:

As a CNC Machinist within our client's business, you will play a pivotal role within their manufacturing team, machining bespoke products to clients and internal specifications. The role of CNC Machinist will offer diversity in the work that you do as different projects require different products, ranging in scale and material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
  • Select appropriate tools, materials, and methods for machining projects.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards through accurate measurement and inspection.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machinery settings to optimise production efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
